hi

i've finished my second mission called: co10@_wet_socks on isladuala

short description:
    - 10 special forces (ai set off)
    - location middle-east of isla in an jungle
    - tasks are:
      - Infiltrate and clear the small camp in this area!
      - Clear the airport and destroy all supportvehicles and the chopper!
      - Check and clear the village at coast! Innocent civilians live there!
      - Search any boat and leave the area.
      - Bonus: Find the leader and kill him

    - think it's good balanced for 10 players (no robocopenemy best skill maybe 0.4 - but realy few guys)
    - every player got nice sd wepons and healstuff
    - included briefing with mapmarkers etc.

Missionspecials:
    - Spectating script v1.4 by Kegetys
    - Outtro (win)
    - missionend when all players dead
    - changeable terraindetails (default is with standard gras)
    - random setpos of the enemy leader


Tested some stuff, triggers should be working fine. email is out.

because the mission didnt loaded yesterday, i tryed to fix it. new version

co10@_wet_socks_v0_8.isladuala

changelog:
    - moved the startpos more closer to first obj
    - reduced skills of the enemies
    - delete all medicstuff in units
    - added medicbox at start
    - added medicsoldier in grp
    - "obj5" the enemy leader renamed from "leader" to "leader50" (had-name error at alivecheck)

hope the new version works now. Smile

lo all,


i realy need help with my mission. after the bugfixing the mission still not load on circus...
that whyi checked all important stuff again, got no problems or errormessages in editor or in multiplayermatch...

have anybody time to check my missionparameters?? i had sent the pbo and full unpacked missionfolder to lol@gmail

i'm out of solutions... plz help! Sad

I tried to edit version .8 this morning and could not open it it the editor. I think you must be loading something other than what is on the server. I only run was is needed for Circus and no client side mods like gtd etc. Make sure you only edit with a clean shortcut with only the basic mods so you dont get any extra vehicles or troops etc in your mission.

My error message was having to do with oh2_weapons.

EDIT: After looking for some more info on this I found that it is related to the BMP2, it is not supported with Ace and appears to be from CAA1 (oac stuff). Make sure you are not loading any part of CAA1 when you edit, this may fix your problem.

And now I can load it in the editor. Smile it's the top part of the mission.sqm. We used to get this with ofp too. Sometimes if you add something then remove it when editing it does not always remove it from the addons or autoaddons list of the mission.sqm and we had to do it manually. It's a bug that seems to still haunt us. Give it a try and it might work now.

My mistake it was oh2_wheeled that I removed. When I did and opened in the editor I got this message when the mission loads:

After I click continue to clear the error the mission is loaded and can be edited. I think that maybe this vehicle is not supported on the server. Just a guess.

Not sure just guessing agian, but is this maybe part of a french soldier/vehicle mod that we dont support? I do not see ACE SF in the list off addons under ACE unless it is contained in part of the pbo.

it cant be the loaded addons, i just had

after i removed @sakulightfx;@WarFXParticles;@gdtmod_hdr;@gdtmod_nvgoggles; in the exe-line, i have no problems to load this missoin again.

i edit the mission again - delete the full weaponsloadouts in every playable unit and add some ammobox at start. i looks realy like a functional error between ACE shit...

    - reomved weaponsloadouts in Initline of every playable unit
    - changed the kind of soldiers to standard "usmc"
    - added 1 special weapons crate at start
    - delete the autoaddonlines in sqm and reloaded the mission with basic addonpack

sooo, i changed the mission again

co10@_wet_socks_v0_86.isladuala

changelog:
    - all enemy light tanks changed to BTR-90 (russia)
    - the Mi changed too (to orig russian chopper)
    - after the changes, i delete the addon and autoaddonlines in mission.sqm and realoaded it with standard addonpack

maybe i should change the missionname to wet_sucks Evil or Very Mad .... it must be working now!
