oh 2.1 not final version. will come out 2.5 as final.
he need another half year to finish it with vehicles.

i don't think we don't need the vehicles.

the buggest issue is that it is not ecp compatible. if ppl load ecp first then they will not have the needed animations. at least the server will not crash but maybe they will. even if an ecp compatible config is released someone will have to work the changes into tak's ecp, which is a big joyless job. i will not do it.

i have stopped using ecp myself.

how about i upload to Baaa for some fun? keep an eye on the bi forums and see if any bugs pop up.

im suggest wait the v2.5, our LOLextras2 is brand new so we have time to wait.

PS.: i need to explore anims, acrually im not found news, i cant climb walls and cant aim when run etc...
how can i?

he said he might release a config that would be compatible with ecp. but tak's ecp also has its own config with all the extra weapon, units, etc. and there are Tak versions with and without dynamic sound mod and INQ weapons so it would be a real mess to sort out.

im sad coz i see units can jump over only small fences/obstacles coz i seen this on sanctuary's channel, and i count on it:

other anims are very cool, really not a big changes from v1.0
really news for us the lean and the roll on floor

the "built-in" scripts are interesting (bombing, arty or cover fire) too but need watch how they work on MP server. hope they are useful and not only for make a cooler intros Wink

Inc, this had to be done to prevent the breaking of any mission that used obstacles to control the players movement.

But if you read through the WW4 mods thread you will see the animation is still there to be used in a mission if you like. You just need to addAction it. I'll write a short script to do this, or maybe someone will beat me to it.

Needs a locality check and a unit type check to make sure the addaction is only added to man type units. I was not crazy about the climbing animation because with it you can climb thin air.
